Next, some accounting news from Paul: Yesterday, I set up a checking account at the Astoria Federal in the Massapequa branch and I'll get Dennis Shapiro to co-sign next Saturday.  Checks for the Saturday night dinner ($45.00 per person) and any donation should be made out to: Paul DeMartino, with Class of 65 Reunion noted somewhere on the check.  Checks should be sent to:

Also, please indicate the name or names of the person or people attending, and the amount of a contribution, if included.  Otherwise, I'll consider any amount over $45.00 to be a contribution.  I'll keep you both posted as to the totals, and please be aware we have two partial payment deadlines to the hotel, one in late March, and the other in mid-April.  So if you can send the money early, please do.

A very important question from Marc Jonas:  Do you think that alums are bringing spouses?   (Rich again:  This is important for accounting and logistics.  If we have more people coming than just on the current list, we need more space and more food.  So please let me know soon.)

A less important question from Marc Jonas:  Should we rent a juke box with 45's from the good years?

A notice of an oversight from Emily Ferber Sondheimer:  Unless my bifocals aren't working right, you have not included me for April.

An explanation:  The reason I sent the latest South '65 Contact List to everyone last week, although it's always available on both our home pages, is some people don't use the home pages, or have patience for waiting for AOL to clear.  I'll try to remember to send the list out once a month.

A regret from Hy Rosov:  What a great response.  Wish I lived up in New York so I could be with you.  All those names conger up beautiful memories for me.

Thoughts from Barbara Blitfield Pech:  Is there any possibility of having a group panoramic picture taken during the reunion weekend?  Also, is it possible to video simulcast or live web cam the reunion over the Internet, for people who unfortunately can't be there?

Thoughts from Judy Hartstone:  I'm hoping we can get a professional videographer for the tape.  Also, if we have nametags -- and I think we should -- could the spouses/partners have a different colored one so we don't have to wonder why we don't know this person.   Plus, I read somewhere of a reunion where the nametags had the yearbook photo of the person.

A follow-up from Barbara  Endy Ianniello:  A while back someone was looking for Harry Gribbon, class of '64.  I recently came upon his e-mail address, and he told me I could share it with the class of 65.  It's:  harrygribbon@hotmail.com
