Update 6-18-01


Hey,

Neatest thing that happened personally all week:  Ellen Epstein Silver and I had lunch together (her husband chaperoned).  Second neatest:  Stu Borman sent me a picture of myself in 4th grade, when I was still passably cute.

As for South folks:  we've added another 10, bringing us to 76 absolutely known with still another 25 close by.  Some are just watching and don't want to be listed.  Others don't use computers.  So if there's someone you want to contact who's not on the home page, please ask if I know where they are.  I may be able to put you in touch with someone who will pass on word to them.

And a number of people are still calling folks we only have phone numbers for.  That's what I meant last week when I said there were 29 people I had phone numbers for---I meant only phone numbers, no e-mail addresses.  Suddenly people were flinging phone numbers at me like they were dollar bills and I was a stripper.  Flattering, but unnecessary.

Oh, yeah:  there's a report some of us are in jail.  Yikes.
