Update 5-5-15

Hi,

I got home late this afternoon from two weeks away – one east and one slightly north – and a couple of dozen reunion notes were waiting.  Since some were only to me, I’m pulling quotes and running them anonymously.  Not that anyone needs proof that everyone there -- or anyone following along -- had a lot of fun.

I'm glad you all had a wonderful time.  Please post some pics!

It really was wonderful.

So many of us Falcons together after all these years.  Our 50th was fabulous!

A great time was had by all!

It was a wonderful reunion.

Thanks for that whirlwind account of what by all reports was a hugely successful reunion.  Clearly, there was a great vibe in the air, and the informality of the event only seemed to add to a very special get-together.

I thought the reunion was particularly lovely.  I worried that fewer people would take the edge off the event.  It did not.  It was cozy and comfortable and casual and absolutely wonderful to be with everybody.

Thank you for such a descriptive account of the weekend.  It sounded like everyone had a wonderful time, and your writing made me feel like I was there, too.

Loved every minute of the weekend.  We are all very blessed to have been there and to have one another.

I, too, thought Jerry Gold was dead.  What great news that he isn’t!

Thank you for expressing your gratitude and satisfaction regarding your recent stay at the Hyatt Regency.  It is truly a pleasure to know that the hard work and commitment of our staff was instrumental in that success.  Your kind comments regarding your stay have been forwarded to the General Manager and Divisional Vice President.  You may be assured that the staff will be commended for their efforts during your visit.

Sounds great.  Glad it was such a success.

That’s simply great.

Thanks to all for a great reunion weekend.

Great summary of what was by all reports, a great reunion!

Glad everyone had a great time.  I had a great time reading about it. Thanks!

It was great seeing Joan Aires after 50 years.  We caught up with a lot of family and friends’ news.  Valerie was great speaking about her travels and living on Long Island  I forget the name of the gent sitting to my left, but we had a great conversation about careers and sports.  Bernie Scheidt was to my right, and we spoke about our careers and old classes.  I was absent Saturday as I woke up that morning to a flooded basement.  It will take a few weeks to get back to the way it was.

From Allen Moss in Maine:  So sorry that I missed the weekend.  It sounded great!  Looking forward to seeing those pictures.  Feeling much better but still am being reminded of how easily getting up the wrong way can get you in big trouble!  As for Dennis Pizzimenti' suggestion about my hitching a ride:  he would have had to take me in that blanket and strap me prone to the roof for me to be able to complete the ride.  Even sitting for a few minutes last week was total agony.  The five-year reunion idea sounds perfect and, as I e-mailed to Stu Kandel, I will make sure I stay away from my HO train layout weeks before the next reunion!  My open invitation for folks to visit Maine in the upcoming summer and fall seasons remains.  If you are in the mood for beautiful oceanscapes and lots of fresh seafood.  "Come on up!"  In the meantime, stay well, all, and enjoy yourselves!

Thanks for the detailed update.  I heard a lot from others and saw some photos.  Glad you all had fun.

This weekend was great.  To think that 50 years have gone by since our graduation is amazing.  Thanks to our friends who were with us.  It made it very special.  Hope all the long distance travelers made it home safely.

Happy continued memory sharing and good health to all!

From Mary Ferranti Khan:  Here are my pictures.  Unfortunately, my memory card filled up. so I did not get everyone.   I hope some other people will be sending in some pictures to add to mine!  So when is the next reunion?

And from Stu Borman:  I posted Mary Ferranti Khan's photos on the class photo site in a folder called "50th Reunion."  If people have other photos, please send them to me.  sborman @ gmail . com  (remover spaces)
