Hi,
A couple of notes, first from Ed Albrecht: Just a side note. My parents lived on Garden Street from 1930, I believe, to 1990. Dad passed in 1963 and Mom in 1990. They lived on Cochran Place before that, but I'm not sure for how long. I was there from 1947 till I got married in 1970. Wow, what memories. I can't believe I have a sister who's 80 years young!
And from class of '63 reunion coordinator, Amy Miller Cohen: We now have 30 reservations -- including guests -- for the October 12th reunion in New York City.
If you were in our class and can't be at the reunion, you can still keep in touch and share the party with us by sending your contribution to the 2013 version of our class yearbook. If you have misplaced the questions that I sent out, just let me know at: YmaRellim @ aol . com and I'll send you another copy.
So far, it been a great pleasure to read about what other people have been doing over the past 50 years. So please contribute, and if you are able, send a recent photo from the past 25 years as well.
Here's a list of those people who are coming to our reunion, followed by the state or city in which they now reside:
Enid Stern, New York
Richard Stern, New Jersey
Amy Miller Cohen, Pennsylvania
Gail Kimmel Potash, New York
Linda Bazerman Blank, South Carolina
Caryl Snapperman Avery, New York City
Bill Figlozzi, New York
Bill Puka, Massachusetts
Judy Birken Gertler, Massachusetts

Sherry Sweeny Sawchak, New Jersey
Joan Arnay, New Jersey
Janet Weeks Rawe, Texas
Rich Sternhell (class of 64), Pennsylvania

7 other people have said, "Maybe." Also, as of July 30th, I've received Reunion Yearbook updates from:
Jim Keilman
Janet Weeks
Nancy Uhlar
Roger Pascal
John Fare
Carrie D'Inzillo
Irving Kipnis
Looking at the logistics of this -- almost 1/10 of our class will be at the reunion. In addition, 1/10 of the Found members from our class have responded with their new Yearbook entries.
[Rich -- Not wanting to step on the class of '63's reunion -- and I assume the class of '64 will organize its 50th reunion next -- but when a group of us from the class of '65 were having lunch after Robin Feit Baker's funeral. someone asked if our class would be having a 50th reunion.
Of course, the answer is, "Yes." I don't know where it will be, I don't know exactly when, and I don't know how many people will be there. But in a year-or-so, I'll probably poll the people who came to the 40th and 45th reunions and ask where they'd like to meet. Why this group? Because I suspect they'll want to get together again. We've had a lot of fun. And once we have an answer from that group, everyone else interested can join in.
Meanwhile, help out the class of '63, and if you know where missing members of that class are, please let Amy know. You can also consider the People We're Still Looking For from the class of '65. These are folks even Paul DeMartino couldn't find in 2001. As best I know, they are:
Dennis Acker, Jane Altschul, Robert Benson, Jean Bolis, Ed Bonlarron, Bill Brady, Bob Brashears, Ken Brown, Bob Cairns, Theresa Clark, Beatrice Coby, Barry Cohen, Irene Cohen, Bob Colman, Tom Connelly,
Mario Derogatis, Gabrielle Devoe, Maureen Dowd, Patricia Elderkin, Bill Erickson. David Esbin, Suzanne Farber, Carol-Ann Fasel, George Fatscher, Jerilyn Ferrera, Mike Florio, Roberta Freeman, Bonnie Friedman,
Elizabeth Funk, Patricia Gillen, Dorothy Ginty, Bob Greene, Roy Harris, Beverly Henrichs, Joanne Hopke, John Hubbard, Antonette Joerger, Diane Kammerer, John Keating, Bernadette Keefe, AnnMarie Lauricella, Richard Laurita, Lynne Lewis, Donald Lobdell, Richard Magee, Richard MacDonald, Carolyn Montchar, Douglas Moore, Barbara Newman, Charlotte Pedersen, Sharon Quanz, Janet Riccio, June Reising, Linda Robustelli, Patricia Rose,Barry Rubin, Paula Sanicki, Jane Samet, Carol Schmidt, Ken Senzer (I'm pretty sure he's in Green Acres / Mill Brook), Peter Small, Robert Smith, Dorothea Spencer, Douglas Stahl, Carol Stanfill, David Stem, Deborah Susner, Marilyn Waldman, Helen Weinberg, Judy Weltner, Gary Weston, Loretta Willoughby, Ellen Winters, Linda Ziegler, Linda Zimmerman
There's also another list of People We Once Had Contact With But Have Now Lost Touch With, but I'd have to compile that. Our logistics: we're in touch with about 1/2 of our class of approximately 300. 50 people we've lost touch with. 75 we never located. And, unfortunately, about 25 have died.]
And just so I don't end this newsletter with the word "died," here's some happy news from Facebook:
Valerie Nelson Gillen mentions that her daughter just gave Valerie and her husband, George, a new fence for their yard. Valerie and George are also updating their fireplace and putting in new hardwood floors.
But I'm not jealous. We got a new fence a year ago, and any one of these days, I'll paint it. And we already have a nice fireplace.
But Valerie and George have a pool.
